FAQ

How should my registration be spaced?

For the correct format you should only  add one space  to your registration following what it’s written on the certificate. However if it is requested that the plate spacing will be modified, the plate immediately becomes not road legal which is at the owners discretion. This will then become ” a Show plate” and a form will be given out that must be signed suggesting that this plate should not be used on the UK roads and only for display/show. Please refer to your V5 log book if you are unsure or contact us for more information

Do you make Custom Signs/Name Plaques?

If these Signs are intended for off road use (show plates), then yes we would be able to cater to your needs. Get in touch with your requirements.

Do I need to send documents?

Yes! It’s a legal requirement. We issue our legal forms (for more information please see HERE) and in return we require a form of identification which could be any of the following:

  • A valid Driving License (with or without a photo)
  • A Passport (valid for the next 6 months)
  • Any bill issued by a Gas, Electricity or Water supplier
  • A recent bill (e.g. Council tax or Landline/ Telephone)
  • A Bank or Building society Statement
  • A valid debit or credit card issued by a Bank or Building Society
  • A National Identity card issued by the Government of a State or Territory
  • A Police warrant card
  • An Armed forces Identity card

Confirm your entitlement?

We need to see one document to approve the ownership of the plate, this can be:

Vehicle registration certificate (V5C or V5CNI) New keeper supplement (V5C/2 or V5C/2NI) Certificate of entitlement (V750 or V750NI) to the number Retention document (V778) – not applicable in Northern Ireland A renewal reminder for vehicle tax or SORN (V11 or V11NI) Temporary registration certificate (V379 or V379NI) A number plate authorisation certificate (V948) with an official stamp from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) or Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) An electronic number plate authorisation certificate (eV948) A letter of authorisation from a fleet operator (including lease or hire company) quoting the document reference number from the registration certificate

(This document does not need to match the identification of the person placing the order)

For more information, please see HERE

Which courier do you use?

We’re currently using Royal Mail first class delivery, delivery can vary depending on how long it takes for documents to be sent in. This is usually 1-3 business days after the documents have been received.
